Techno issue #5

Hi, I haven't posted lately cause I've been doing other things and I'm going to make this a lot simpler now instead of having a huge title and big writing.

APPS: Brick breaker: really addictive and great to try and beat your friends! rate: 4/5            Bet you cant beat my score, 9610!

Games: Power Pamplona: You are a Spanish man  running away from a bull. Crazy I know but really addictive. Rate 5/5
Runescape: Trying to make way through life in this world is hard but you can do it! (If you play it for a while =P) Rate 5/5

Game of the week.... Asphyx: You have to hold your breath everytime you go underwater and if you cheat then you... then you.... I don't know but its not good to cheat okay!

Issue 4

 

Hello and welcome to the fourth issue of Techno! Because this has been running for one month now I will include a video at the end! I forgot game of the week last week so I will remember to put it in this time! I haven’t got many reviews this week so most of them will be by me.

APPS

Minecraft: This is a very good game if you are into architecture. If not then I do not recommend playing this because you will find it deeply boring. The free version isn’t very good but if you are willing to pay £5 then you will quite enjoy it. Rating 4/5.

Games

Power Pamplona: This is a great game. You are a Spanish man who is running away from a bull.  After the first level you get chased by something else. When you get to the last level it is night time and you are running back into the arena where you started. Rating 5/5.

Game of the week

Bridge Tactics: This game is really good. The aim of the game is to let all of the soldiers onto the bridge and then detonate the dynamite. Rating 5/5.

DVD’s

Wreck it Ralph: I think this film is awesome and so funny! I was on the edge of my seat when watching Ralph and the little girl from the Sugar Rush. You guys have to watch it! Nicole Solan.

Hello and welcome back to the third issue of Techno. I am sorry about the last issue on the blog because of the title with that box around it and the picture didn’t show. I will make sure that doesn’t happen this time! Now let’s get going!

 

Gadgets

Xbox 360: This is probably the most popular game console and you can play nearly any type of game on it. The only downsides I have found is that it rattle after you’ve had it for about 6 months, also you can’t play Super Mario Bros. Rating 4/5.

Apps

Translator (Blackberry): I have played with this app quite a bit. It is very accurate and the logo is very attractive as well. Rating 5/5

Temple run 2: I have played this game twice and it looks very good. It is quite different from temple run 1 because you can go through caves. The one downside I have found is that when you slide under something the camera doesn’t move down with it. Rating 3/5

Games

Just Cause 2

This game is very chaotic. That’s because the aim of the game is to cause chaos. You can blow up planes, pull down statues and grapple cars to bridges so that they fall off it! Rating 4/5

Fifa 13

Fifa 13 is a great football game. There isn’t much to say about it but one good thing is the graphics, they are top quality and the best I have ever seen! Rating 5/5

Hello and welcome back to the second issue of Techno! This week a lot more people have replied back so I may have a lot more info!

APPS

Temple run: A fun and addictive game. You have to slide your character up to jump over things and down to slide under things. This is one of the most common apps that people have installed because many people have shared it with other people. Rating: 5/5

Jetpack guy: Again another very fun and addictive game. You have to press down to make your character go up and when you go up with the default  jetpack you shoot out bullets which kills the lab scientists on the ground. When you see a square box in mid-air make sure you go through it because you turn into another thing. The only downside I have found is to upgrade takes a

very long time because they are expensive. Rating 4/5

Gadgets

Blackberry curve 9320: This phone is extremely popular with its little square dragger. Pros: It has a key for every letter, lots of apps, BBM, access your email through it. BBM( Black Berry Messenger) is an extremely good feature for blackberries, it allows people with other blackberries to talk to each other for free! Cons: It lags a lot, the screen cracks easily, the camera needs a lot of light to take a good picture.

Games

Kick the Boss 2: You have a weapon and you have to attack the boss to kill him. You can level up by achieving objects, unlock new places to kill him, upgrade and buy new weapons with money and crystals you get from killing him. You can also get weapon parts by killing him. You can buy different bosses as well. By Adam Winter

Game of the week

Shoot ‘m: This game is very good, you have to kill this stickman but he is immortal. It’s a very fun game but gets boring once you’ve completed it.

 

I give this game a 4/5! Have fun!

Issue 1

 

Since this is the first issue of Techno, I shall give you a run through of what I and others will be putting in here. We will have reviews from people about DVDs, new gadgets, online games and vehicles. We will also have concept art from people on our team about games and sometimes even titles (Twitter, Facebook). So I have now told you about what will be in this I will get on with it.

 

APPS

Doodle jump :I love it because it is fun, challenging and puts you on the end of your seat. I would personally rate it 4/5 stars because it is one of them where you have to start again if you lose, what is annoying yet very addictive! I would say to everyone who I know, get it! By Mia Bainbridge

Fruit Ninja: fruit ninja is free and an action packed game. There are different sections in the game such as Arcade and Zen mode. Overall, I think this is a brilliant game. By Alexander Dunn.

 

Gadgets

Nexus 7(Tablet): Now I don’t know much about this tablet but this is what I have found out: It has the fastest chip set around inside it, there isn’t a lot of lag(slowness) and the final fact I have found is it’s partnered up with android. Adam Winter quoted “They have built in internet, sports apps, news, safety to stop viruses and great graphics!”

 

Game of the week!

8 Ball Pool: Now this game is extremely addictive, you play a game of pub pool online against people all over the world! The speed of it is really good and the amount of players that play it makes it even better!
